In summary, this brochure tells us that, as a tourist if we are engaged to any licensed travel agent we are protected by Ministry of Tourism under their acts.
Hence, it is highly recommended that if we are going to engaged any travel agent -be it domestic or international holiday- we must:
- get a licensed one,
- understand the terms and conditions of the package,
- the provided transportation services must be licensed by Ministry of Tourism, and
- same goes to travel guide
Ministry of Tourism also do take complaints should we have any dissatisfaction with our travel agent with regards to:
- travel agent or tour operator
- tour transportation
- tour guide
- accommodation
- tourism information service
This is just the summary of it, at least we already know that there is an authority governing into this matter should we have any problem. I'm sure there must a lot more information to be explored.
