Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, Kudat is where the most north tip of Borneo Island. Stretching out to the vast ocean and overlooking the "junction" where the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea meet, this God-sent lookout point was used to guard against pirates. While visitors can come here any time of the day to revel in its beauty, the Tip of Borneo really comes into its element during sunset. Just lay back and take in breathtaking atmosphere, as wondrous colors of red, orange and gold envelope the sky.
